15.08.09 | Off to NYC - Part.2

Bon, cette fois ça y est. Après avoir passé près d'un an à préparer ce projet, il est temps de partir. J'ai reçu mon visa il y a 2 jours (oui, je sais, c'est juste...) et suis - à l'heure où ce billet est mis en ligne - dans l'avion en direction de New York, quelque part au dessus de l'océan Atlantique.

Ok, this time this is it. After almost a year of preparation, it's time to leave. My visa was delivered 2 days ago (I know, the timing is tight...) and I am - at least when this post is being published - in a plane flying to New York City, somewhere above the Atlantic Ocean.

Certains "au revoir" ont été difficiles... Mais le plus dur a été de faire mes valises. J'ai dû me séparer de tellement de choses ! Les choix les plus drastiques ont été opérés dans ma bibliothèque puisque je ne pars qu'avec 9 livres. 2 guides de NYC - bien sûr -, 2 essais : Propaganda et Le culte de l'amateur - parce qu'il va bien falloir continuer à réfléchir -, un bouquin référence dans le domaine de la PNL, 3 romans et un recueil de poème de l'américain Robert Frost - offert par J. que je remercie... Je reparlerai peut-être ici de quelques uns de ces bouquins. A voir.

Some "goodbyes" have been difficult... But the hardest part was to pack. I had to get rid of so many things! The more drastic choices were about my books since I'm going with only 9 of them. 2 city guides of NYC - of course -, 2 books about communications : Propaganda and The Culf Of Amateur - because I'll have to keep thinking -, a major book about NLP, 3 novels and a selection of poems by Robert Frost - offered by J. that I thank.... I may write about some of those books here. We'll see.
